The Senegalese State is going to pursue the major projects left by the former regime, by working especially to concretize new projects, as the integrated economic Zone, the ore port of Bargny or still the development of railroads, announced on Friday Diène Farba Sarr, Managing director of the national Agency in charge of the investments promotion and major projects (APIX). "With the toll highway, we are 85 percent of execution of the works until Diamniodio, but especially there are new projects for the integrated economic Zone, which is a space of 13 000 hectares where many things will be built ", " We planned to build in the special economic integrated, residential domains which shelter infrastructures of new information technologies and the communication ( ITC). There will be also a logistic domain which is going to open towards the airport (of Diass). In the chapter of the new projects, we planned the construction of the ore port of Bargny (mineral port) and the cereal port of Kaolack (center)", pursued Diène Farba Sarr, finding that railroads constitute a priority of the new authorities : " the railroad also is one of the ambitions of Macky Sall. We cannot develop a country with a single alternative which is the road, it is also necessary to invest on the railroad. We planned anchor projects in this sense ".
