Projet Autoroute
As part of the general policy of infrastructure upgrading, urban planning and sub-regional integration, the Dakar - Diamniadio - AIBD toll motorway project has made a significant contribution to improving urban mobility and decongesting the city of Dakar. This integrated urban project, marked by a strong human dimension, enabled the construction of 48.5 km of motorway between Dakar and the new Airport with major interchanges, the development of the Tivaouane Peulh resettlement site offering modern housing conditions, the development of Mbao Classified Forest and the restructuring of Pikine Irregulier Sud (PIS) districts.
