Reforms

The Business Environment Directorate, which has been housed at Apix S.A. since 2002, implements strategies and concrete measures aimed at improving the investment climate in Senegal in general and facilitating the life of companies that set up there in particular. The said Directorate ensures the permanent secretariat of the CPI (Presidential Investment Council), a body created by the President of the Republic with the aim of establishing a privileged framework of public-private dialogue for the identification of the obstacles to the development of private investment and the constraints to the competitiveness of Senegal. Since the beginning of the last decade, the DEA has initiated, supervised and communicated about a hundred crucial reforms for the future of our young nation, substantially improving the life of businesses in Senegal and consequently our position in the major international rankings such as the Doing Business.
